NBA Fantasy Playoffs: 6 Waiver Wire Adds for Week of March 25th

March 19, 2026 Alex Carter - Sports Editor Sport

Orlando Magic forward Tristan da Silva is averaging 14.2 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.3 steals over his last six games, becoming a key contributor during a stretch where the Magic are vying for playoff positioning in the Eastern Conference.

Da Silva’s increased production coincides with injuries to teammates Franz Wagner (ankle) and Anthony Black (abdomen), both of whom have missed the last six games and remain without a clear return date. The Magic play four games next week, including matchups against the Indiana Pacers and Sacramento Kings, presenting favorable opportunities for the second-year forward to continue his recent surge.

During the six-game stretch, Da Silva has averaged 32 minutes per game, showcasing his versatility with 1.7 three-pointers made per contest. According to data from Yahoo Sports, he is currently rostered in 23% of Yahoo fantasy basketball leagues, making him a potentially valuable waiver wire addition as many leagues enter their playoff phase.

The Magic’s success has been bolstered by contributions from other players as well. Jalen Suggs and da Silva combined for 48 points in a recent overtime victory against the Washington Wizards, demonstrating the team’s ability to overcome challenges with balanced scoring.

Da Silva, drafted 18th overall in 2024 by the Orlando Magic after playing college basketball at Colorado, has shown marked improvement since the All-Star break. He is averaging 9.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists overall this season, but his recent performances suggest a significant upward trajectory.

The Orlando Sentinel reported earlier this month that both Paolo Banchero and Desmond Bane have highlighted da Silva’s poise and defensive improvements, noting his increased aggressiveness on both ends of the court. Banchero specifically praised da Silva’s ability to “look for his shots” and be aggressive, whereas Bane commented that he is “playing out of his mind right now.”

The Magic will play four games in each of the following two weeks, providing continued opportunities for da Silva to maintain his expanded role and contribute to the team’s playoff push. The team has not provided a timeline for the return of Wagner or Black, leaving da Silva’s continued prominence uncertain but potentially significant.
