Spain’s national lottery will distribute €42 million in prizes today, Saturday, February 21, 2026, in a special drawing held at 1:00 PM in the Salon de Sorteos of Loterías y Apuestas del Estado. The lottery offers a first-place prize of €600,000 per series, translating to €60,000 for each winning tenth of a ticket.
A second-place prize of €120,000 per series, or €12,000 per tenth, will also be awarded. Beyond the two major prizes, the lottery will also distribute awards for matches of two, three, and four digits of the winning number. Three separate “reintegro” prizes will also be selected.
Each series consists of 100,000 tickets, divided into ten series of 10,000 tickets each. A full ticket costs €60, while a tenth, the most common purchase, costs €6, according to Loterías y Apuestas del Estado.
The lottery distributes 70% of its revenue back to ticket holders in prizes, totaling €42 million for this draw. Prizes are awarded for approximations to the winning numbers, with €10,000 per series (€1,000 per tenth) for numbers immediately before and after the first-place number, and €5,540 per series (€554 per tenth) for numbers immediately before and after the second-place number. Additional prizes of €300 per series (€30 per tenth) are awarded to the remaining 99 numbers within the same hundred as the first and second-place numbers.
Smaller prizes are also available for matching the final two, three, or four digits of the winning number, ranging from €12 to €150 per tenth. The selection process utilizes a multi-drum system, with each of the five digits drawn from a separate drum containing numbers 00000 to 99999. The probability of winning the first prize is one in 100,000.
