Reddick disclosed the news in a post-race interview with NBC Sports. “It’s been a really tough week,” he said. “My son Beau has been in the ICU with a respiratory issue. It’s been really hard to focus on anything other than that.” He added, “I debated whether or not to even come to the track today, but I felt like I had commitments to my team and to our partners. I just wasn’t able to give it everything I had.”
