Las Vegas, NV – October 9, 2025 – Award-winning motorsports journalist Holly Cain will serve as Grand marshal for the Focused Health 302 NASCAR Xfinity Series Playoff Race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Saturday, October 11, 2025. Cain,a two-time breast cancer survivor,will deliver the command to start engines alongside other breast cancer survivors,officially launching the NASCAR Xfinity Series Playoffs Round of 8 race.
The appointment recognizes Cain’s distinguished 30-year career in motorsports media and her inspiring personal journey. It also highlights Focused Health’s commitment to breast cancer awareness and support. This event underscores the growing intersection of sports, community, and health advocacy within the NASCAR landscape.
Cain’s career includes contributions to prominent publications such as The Tampa Tribune, The Dallas Morning News, and The Seattle Post-Intelligencer, alongside digital roles at AOL Sports, FOXSports.com,and NASCAR.com. Currently, she writes for the NASCAR Wire Service and serves as a voter for the NASCAR Hall of Fame.
