My Bloody Valentine Plays First Show ⁢in ‍Five Years With Surprise Dublin Concert

My Bloody Valentine, the influential ‌Irish shoegaze band, returned to the stage November 17th, 2023, with a surprise concert at Dublin’s National Stadium. The performance marked the band’s first show since 2018 and served as a warm-up for their‍ upcoming European tour.

The unexpected gig, announced just days prior, drew a large crowd of attendees. Despite technical difficulties causing a late start and resulting in the removal of “Who Sees You” and “Wonder 2” from ⁤the setlist, the band delivered a 17-song performance including the live debut of‌ “Off Your Face.” The concert arrives amidst ongoing questions⁢ surrounding ⁤the disappearance of the band’s seminal albums, Isn’t Anything and Loveless, ‍from various streaming ⁣services over two ⁣months ago. current label Domino Recording Co. has yet to provide a ⁤reason for⁢ their removal, while the 2013 album m b v remains available.
