Moorebank Home Shot At And Car Torched In Targeted Sydney Attack
A manhunt is under way across Sydney’s south-west after gunmen opened fire on a Moorebank home and torched a vehicle in the driveway while seven children were inside.
NSW Police rushed to Shoreline Road in Moorebank at 2:30am on Sunday after receiving reports that gunfire had rung out. Police were told that several shots had been fired into the residence as a car in the driveway went up in flames.
Inside the Targeted Attack and Video Evidence
A 32-year-old woman and seven children, aged between three and 10, were inside the home at the time of the incident but remained uninjured. The perpetrators fled the scene in a white vehicle before law enforcement arrived.
Footage provided to the gangland social media channel SCN Worldstar, purporting to be filmed by one of the men inside the getaway vehicle, captures the moment the car was set on fire and shots were fired into the house. During the recording, an assailant was filmed holding up a handwritten sign containing an apparent threat directed at a car rental company owner believed to have links to the property.
The sign stated: YOU WANT TO BE A MAN CAROL, WELCOME TO A MANS WORLD!
Threats Sent to Gangland Channels
Additional threats sent from the gunmen to the social media channel appeared to brag about forcing the rental business owner out of the industry and out of the country entirely.
The sent threat read: I WILL KEEP GOING TILL YOUR OUT OF THIS COUNTRY BACK TO LEBANON CALL ME PAULINE HANSON,
and added, PS : CHECK UNDERNEATH YOUR CAR HEHEHE MIGHT FIND A TRACKER LOL… BUT NOT ANYMORE. MY SOULJAS BLEW IT TO FLAMES
Police are actively searching for the gunmen involved in the targeted attack and are expected to front the media on Sunday.
