Montana State Women’s Tennis Clinch 4-1 Victory Over Colorado State
(Jan. 25, 2026) – Terezie Stverakova clinched Montana State’s 4-1 women’s tennis win at Colorado State on Sunday with a 6-3,6-2 victory at No. 4 singles.
Montana State swept all four singles matches after losing the doubles point to Mountain West opponent CSU. The win by freshman Stverakova on court four completed a dramatic comeback. Junior Anna Wise started the rally with a 6-2, 6-4 win at no.2 singles, and Angel Bean followed with a 6-3,6-3 victory at No. 3 singles. Maria Sanchez secured the final singles point with a 7-6 (7-5), 6-2 win at No. 1.
Colorado State took the doubles point, winning at No.1 and No. 3. The Bobcat duo of Wise and bean won 6-4 at No. 2 doubles.
Montana State improves to 2-0 on the season, while Colorado State falls to 1-1. The Bobcats next play at boise State on February 7th.
