speaking to the BBC after receiving ‍the award on Wednesday morning, Salah reflected​ on his journey, stating, “I cannot lie, I‍ did not imagine that when ​I started ⁣playing football in egypt, I⁤ just wanted to be ​famous, and to help my family financially.” He further explained that his focus ‍shifted over time, evolving into a relentless pursuit of achievements. “Things began to ‌become ‍clear with me later ‍in my career, I became more looking for achievements, I am always hungry for more, I can say that hunger is my real motivation⁤ to search ⁢for achievements and break numbers.”
