The improvements support the competition pool and aquatic area, which features a movable hydraulic floor, advanced UV water purification technology, and world-class competition capabilities. The space will be officially dedicated as the Denny Boyd Pool at the Mizzou Aquatic Center during a ceremony on Nov. 6. The project represents a collaborative effort between the Division of Student Affairs and Mizzou Athletics.
Denny Boyd’s extraordinary generosity reflects the very best of what it means to be a Tiger,
Mizzou Director of Athletics Laird Veatch said. His investment in Mizzou Swimming and Diving will have a lasting impact on our program and the Mizzou Aquatic Center for years to come.
