Daddy Yankee Sued for $10 Million by Ex-Wife mireddys González in ‘Economic Violence’ Claim
San Juan, Puerto Rico – Mireddys González, ex-wife of reggaeton superstar Daddy Yankee, has filed a lawsuit alleging “economic violence” and is demanding $10 million in damages before the Federal court. González claims daddy Yankee is attempting to prevent her from enjoying and disposing of her participation in their shared marital property and is seeking a court order to protect the post-marital community from being “squandered or disappearing.”
The legal motion argues the court must ensure a “fair, fast and economical solution” to the proceedings and prevent the defendant from violating established legal procedures. González’s lawyers emphasized she “urgently needs a remedy that guarantees her access to what she is entitled to and cannot continue to be economically oppressed by the defendant.”
The lawsuit comes amidst a separate $12 million claim filed by Daddy Yankee against González and his former sister-in-law, Ayeicha González, alleging they eliminated important information from his companies, el Cartel Productions and Los Cangris Inc.
