Miraculous Ladybug Movie: John Cohen, Matt Roller Join Creative Team

‘Miraculous’ ​Sets Next Bigscreen Feature With ⁢John Cohen, Matt‌ Roller

PARIS⁢ -⁤ Following a 10-year anniversary celebration at the Eiffel Tower coinciding with Mipcom, “Miraculous” is moving ​forward with a feature film, bringing on John Cohen and‍ Matt Roller to join Miraculous Corp⁤ for the project. The ‍declaration‌ was made by Pierre-Antoine Capton, ​founder of ⁤Miraculous Corp, who hosted the ‍event.

The animated series, which debuted 15 years ago, ⁤centers on a female superhero and has expanded beyond television into toys, books, fashion, games, and live events. Creator Zag​ emphasized the initial challenges ‍in bringing the ⁤brand to life, noting it was a new IP featuring a female superhero before such characters gained widespread ‌popularity. He also highlighted the series’ commitment to⁢ themes of⁣ resilience, courage, and identity, establishing “miraculous” as a benchmark in values-driven ⁣entertainment for youth.

“A great idea ‍alone is ​never enough,” Capton stated, adding that “Miraculous” is “a symbol ⁢of French creativity.” He expressed gratitude to the talent,studio,broadcasters,platforms,licensees,marketing and sales teams,and ​especially the female audience⁤ who have embraced Ladybug. “Because ultimately, that’s the miracle of Ladybug is that it’s making the world’s heart beat in unison with a cartoon born in Paris.”

Looking​ ahead, Capton anticipates “the next 10‌ years will be even more ambitious,” promising new stories, worlds, emotions, and‌ films. Mediawan was also praised as “an amazing ⁤partner who gave (Miraculous) a ⁢new energy for⁣ pushing the ⁤brand even ⁤further around the world.”

According to Yeatman, Cohen’s “remarkable record of delivering global animated hits and Matt’s rare gift for ⁣blending ⁤heart, humor, and imagination will ensure our film not only ⁤thrills audiences but also deepens their ⁣connection to ⁤thes beloved ‍heroes.”

Cohen⁢ is represented by Fred Toczek at Felker Toczek Suddleson McGinnis Ryan. Roller is represented by Pete Stein at CAA with management by Eryn Brown ‌and Marc Mounier at Entertainment 360.
