Minneapolis Hosts 44th National Veterans Wheelchair Games


National Veterans Wheelchair Games Return to Minneapolis for Second time As 1981

Minneapolis, MN – For the second time since 1981, Minneapolis is hosting the prestigious National Veterans wheelchair Games this weekend. The event brings together approximately 550 disabled veteran athletes and 3,000 dedicated volunteers for a week of spirited competition and camaraderie.

Athletes are competing in a diverse range of adaptive sports across various venues, including the minneapolis Convention Center and other locations throughout the metropolitan area. A highlight of the games was Saturday’s Kids Day, where participating athletes engaged with children in wheelchairs, fostering inspiration and connection.
