Minneapolis and St. Paul venues are hosting a diverse array of musical performances this week, with events scheduled for Wednesday, February 11th and extending through the weekend.
On Wednesday, February 11th, Acadia will feature Ditty Wish, even as the Aster Cafe hosts the MN Songwriter Showcase. Son de Cuerdas will perform at Berlin, and the Cherry Pit Open Jam is scheduled at the same venue. OCE’s World Music Night, featuring Dan Turpening, will grab place at Bryant Lake Bowl. Twine is set to perform at Bunker’s, and Gentlemen Dreadnought will play at Carbone’s. C.J. Chenier and the Red Hot Louisiana Band are scheduled to perform at the Dakota, alongside a performance by Tom Dahill and Ginny Johnson at Dubliner Pub. Practice As A Display, a Polica residency, will be held at Icehouse. Midway Saloon will host Pat Donohue and Friends, and Eastside Revue will perform at Minnesota Music Cafe. A Winter Sensory-Friendly Concert is planned at Orchestra Hall. Schooner Tavern will feature Boots and Needles and Soul Trouvere with Mikkel Bee. Laundry Day and Satchel Shure will perform at the 7th St Entry, while Teague Alexy will play at the 331 Club. Harold’s House Party on KFAI, with Scottie Miller, is also scheduled for the 331 Club. Molly Maher & Her Disbelievers will perform at White Squirrel, and Cole Diamond’s Whiskey Wednesday will be at the same venue. Zhora Darling will host J-Mo On The Beat & The J-Lighters and Jeremiah & the Non-Prophets.
Thursday, February 12th, brings Takeover Thursdays to Abi’s, and Pøstcards will perform at Acadia. Lyle’s Tree (Single Release), Chroma, and Blimey are scheduled for Amsterdam. Cole Diamond will perform at Animales, while the Debbie Briggs Vintage Jazz Trio will play at Aster Cafe. Vapo Rub will perform at Berlin, and Fusion Cabaret is set for Black Hart. Jay Bee & the Routine will play at Bunker’s. The Hobbled, Sidewalk Diamonds, and the Pullover will perform at Cloudland. Trish Sisson and John Koziol will play at Crooners, with The Champagne Drops also performing there. A benefit concert, Our Neighbor, is scheduled at the Dakota. South High Band Showcase and DJ Cam Showcase will be at Driftwood Char Bar. Jake La Botz will perform at Dubliner Pub, alongside Tim on Tap.
