The initial phase of the Michigan Avenue construction, starting the week of July 7, will extend from Lathrop Street westward to the traffic signal located at the intersection of Holmes Road and Michigan Avenue. Though, starting in august, the project is slated to advance toward the hospital’s main entrance, with work continuing throughout the fall. Motorists should anticipate delays and plan accordingly.
