The broader buyback framework was authorized by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting on May 7, 2025, permitting the automaker to repurchase up to 58,000,000 shares for a total purchase price of up to €1 billion by April 6, 2027.
Company Buys Shares Between September 28 and October 2
On September 28, the company bought 175,000 shares at a weighted average price of €41.5813. Volume shifted slightly over the following sessions, with 170,000 shares acquired on September 29 at €40.8979 and 180,000 shares secured on September 30 at €40.9295.
Purchasing momentum held steady as the week closed. On October 1, the bank acquired 175,000 shares at €40.2159, followed by an additional 175,000 shares on October 2 at €40.0162. All transactions are logged publicly through the Mercedes-Benz Group AG investor relations portal.
Buyback Program Follows EU Regulations and Previous Initiative
The current buyback operates under Article 5 of Regulation (EU) No. 596/2014 and Delegated Regulation (EU) 2016/1052.
