Kalamazoo, Mich. – The Western Michigan University men’s tennis team begins its 2025 fall season this Friday at the River Forest Collegiate Tennis Invitational, hosted by Northern Illinois University in River Forest, Ill.
The Broncos will be represented in all three doubles draws, beginning with the team of Tim Riedel and Jack Davison competing in the #1 Doubles Draw. Drew Evans will team with freshman Chen-Hui Ho in the #2 Doubles Draw, while Drew Moriarty and Matej Kajzer will contest the #3 Doubles Draw. This tournament marks the first competitive action of the fall for WMU,providing an early test for the squad and a chance to build momentum.
In singles play,Western Michigan will have athletes competing in the top six positions of the seven-draw bracket. Riedel is slated to play at #1, followed by Ho at #2, Kajzer at #3, Davison at #4, Moriarty at #5, and Evans at #6. The invitational will offer valuable match experience as the Broncos prepare for the remainder of their fall schedule and ultimately, the spring season.
