Men’s Soccer: Omaha Mavericks Lose 2-0 to Florida Atlantic

  • Omaha men’s ​soccer fell 2-0 to Florida Atlantic on Wednesday, ‌August 28, 2024, in Boca ​Raton, ‌Florida.
  • Cole Stewart (Lee’s Summit, Mo.), making his first start of the season, recorded three consecutive saves after FAU’s early ‍goal, including a right-footed stop⁤ in the‌ 68th minute.
  • Florida Atlantic began the‍ match with an offensive push, registering five shots (two on target) in the first 30 minutes while Omaha did not attempt a shot.
  • Omaha’s first shot ⁣attempt came in the 33rd minute from ​ Mikey ⁣Stukenholtz (gretna, Neb.), which went over the crossbar.
