Road Pirates Apprehended in Flagrante Delicto

Venezuelan authorities have detained a group of individuals known as “The Road Pirates” for alleged criminal activities. This recent capture highlights ongoing efforts to combat highway banditry in the region and maintain public safety.

Arrest Details

On Troncal No. 19 in Puerto Ordaz, state troops apprehended the “Hamponil Group”. Military personnel from CZGNB-62 Bolívar were responsible for the procedure, which led to the confiscation of a backpack. The bag contained multiple stones believed to be intended for stopping vehicles.

The suspects allegedly launched stones to ambush vehicles on the roadway. Reports indicate the case has been referred to the Public Ministry for further action.
