Nebraska Medicaid Seeks Dental Professional for Advisory Committee
Lincoln, NE – The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Division of Medicaid and Long-Term Care (MLTC), is actively recruiting a dental professional to join the Medicaid Advisory Committee (MAC). This position will provide crucial input on Medicaid policy development and program enhancements.
The MAC serves as an advisory body to the Medicaid agency, comprised of diverse stakeholders including healthcare providers, community organizations, advocates, and policy experts.
“We’re hoping the addition of a dental professional will help round out the wide array of voices within the MAC and ensure that the field is well-represented in regard to the decisions that Nebraska Medicaid makes,” stated Drew Gonshorowski, Director of MLTC.

The MAC typically meets from 3 to 5 p.m. on the third Thursday of every other month. The next scheduled meeting is September 18 at the South Omaha Library,2808 Q St., Omaha.
