McKenna Grace: The 19-Year-Old Actor With a Lifetime of Credits or McKenna Grace’s Rapid Rise: 80+ Credits Before 20 or McKenna Grace: Hollywood’s Prolific Young Star

March 24, 2026 Julia Evans – Entertainment Editor Entertainment

At just 19 years old, Mckenna Grace has already amassed over 80 acting credits, establishing herself as a remarkably prolific performer in a relatively short career. From early roles in television to leading parts in major motion pictures, Grace’s consistent function ethic and demonstrated range have quickly distinguished her within the competitive entertainment industry.

Grace began her career with a commercial booking at age five, followed by her onscreen debut in the Disney XD sitcom Crash & Bernstein (2012-2014), according to a 2022 report. She simultaneously appeared in the film Goodbye World in 2013. Subsequent television roles included appearances on The Young and the Restless (2013-2015) and The Vampire Diaries (2015). Her early filmography also includes Mr. Church (2016) and Independence Day: Resurgence (2016).

A significant turning point in Grace’s career came with her portrayal of Mary Adler, an intellectually gifted child, in the 2017 drama Gifted. The role garnered her widespread recognition and a nomination for the Critics’ Choice Movie Award for Best Young Performer. That same year, she also appeared in How to Be a Latin Lover, Amityville: The Awakening, and I, Tonya, demonstrating a versatility that extended across multiple genres.

Grace continued to take on diverse roles in the following years, including portraying a murderous girl in The Bad Seed, a psychic child in the acclaimed horror series The Haunting of Hill House, and a younger version of Sabrina Spellman in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. She also held a recurring role as a child prodigy in the television series Young Sheldon until 2023.

In 2019, Grace appeared in three high-profile films: Captain Marvel, where she played a younger version of the titular character; the comedy-drama Troop Zero; and the supernatural horror film Annabelle Comes Home. She has also lent her voice to animated projects, including Scoob! (2020) and Spirit Untamed (2021). More recently, she portrayed Phoebe Spengler in Ghostbusters: Afterlife.

Industry observers have noted Grace’s rapid accumulation of credits, with one source referring to her as “one of the most successful and prolific child actors of her generation” as of 2022, having already surpassed 70 credits at that time.
