MBC Group unveiled its newly formed MBC Game Studio and its debut fantasy action-adventure title, 1001 Threads of Mizan, on August 27, 2026, at the Gamescom convention in Cologne, Germany, marking the Middle Eastern media conglomerate’s strategic expansion into the international video game industry.
The announcement establishes a formal footprint for the leading media and entertainment group from the Middle East and North Africa into interactive digital entertainment. 1001 Threads of Mizan draws structural inspiration from traditional Middle Eastern storytelling, specifically incorporating the folklore of One Thousand and One Nights into a cooperative gameplay loop.
