Max Caster's TNA Future Uncertain After Unscripted Riyadh Line, Reports Say

Max Caster’s TNA Future Uncertain After Unscripted Riyadh Line, Reports Say

October 12, 2026 Alex Carter - Sports Editor Sport

Max Caster could already be finished with TNA Wrestling following an unscripted, unapproved rap referencing Riyadh during his debut loss to Moose at Bound for Glory 2026, Fightful reported.

Unapproved Riyadh Lyric Sparks Backlash and Uncertainty

During his entrance at Bound for Glory 2026 last weekend, the former AEW Tag Team Champion performed a trademark freestyle featuring the line, “This the firing squad, I drop bombs, you don’t even have to fly to Riyadh.” Fightful reported that the remark was not scripted or approved by TNA executives, leaving his future with the promotion uncertain and potentially disrupting upcoming television taping schedules. Ringside News added that fans immediately criticized the lyrics for referencing bombs and Riyadh just one day after a real-world, deadly attack by Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthis on a Riyadh airport.

Differing Reports on Caster’s Employment Status

While Fightful noted that his future is uncertain and taping plans could be affected, False Finish reported more definitively that TNA will no longer be working with the wrestler. TNA management moved quickly to scrub the appearance, removing the YouTube clip of Caster’s debut match and deleting the entrance rap video from official social media channels.

Contract Status and Precedent in AEW

Caster entered TNA as a free agent after his All Elite Wrestling contract expired at the start of October. When his debut was announced, only the Bound for Glory match against Moose was officially confirmed, and TNA had not announced a multi-match or long-term signing. Ringside News noted that Caster has a history of controversy regarding his freestyle lyrics, having run into trouble multiple times in AEW before that company allowed his contract to expire rather than offer a new deal.
