Masterchef Celebrity Argentina 2026: Wanda Nara Returns with New Season and Contestants
MasterChef Celebrity returned to Telefe for a new season on Monday, September 28, 2026, hosted by Wanda Nara and featuring 24 contestants competing under judges Damián Betular, Germán Martitegui, and Maru Botana.
Wanda Nara Launches the Competition
Host Wanda Nara opened the season premiere with an emotional and challenging address regarding the expectations placed on the 24 participants facing the culinary challenges set by the judging panel. “The silence is over, the flames are stoking up. Today MasterChef Celebrity begins, the most famous cooking competition in the world. The creativity and endurance of the celebrities will be put to the test under the gaze of television’s severest jury,” Nara stated before welcoming her fellow cast members.
A New Addition to the Judging Panel
Maru Botana joined the judging panel for this iteration, replacing Donato de Santis following his departure at the end of the previous season. While her fellow judges jokingly noted that she arrived late, Botana asserted that the priority is “passion and giving your life in each dish.”
The returning judges outlined their expectations for the kitchen. Martitegui emphasized resilience during adversity, noting that a great cook emerges when things go wrong and true level and commitment appear. Betular added that the secret extends beyond mere technique to touching emotions in every bite, while Botana concluded the introductions by stating that cooking equals giving love and pouring one’s whole heart into every dish.
