Man Found Dead After apparent Drowning in Venice Beach

VENICE BEACH, CA – ​ A man was ⁢pronounced dead Tuesday after‍ his body was pulled from the water near‍ venice⁢ Beach. Los Angeles ‌County Lifeguards responded to reports of a possible drowning around⁢ 10:30 a.m. near the Lifeguard Station‌ 26,⁢ located south of the Venice⁤ Pier.⁣

The victim, whose identity has ⁣not yet been released pending⁣ notification ‌of next of‌ kin, was recovered by⁤ lifeguards and paramedics attempted resuscitation, ⁢but were unsuccessful. The ‍cause of ⁣death​ is currently under examination, and authorities have not released further details ⁢surrounding the incident.
