Maria Steen Fails to Secure Dublin City Council Nomination for Presidential Run

Steen presented herself as a “unifying president,” but councillors ultimately did not endorse her candidacy.
Today is being described as a “super primary” day, with 11 councils holding special meetings to evaluate potential candidates.
