Maria Steen Fails to Secure Dublin City Council Nomination for Presidential Run

dublin,Ireland – September 15,2025 -‍ Conservative commentator‌ maria Steen was ⁣unsuccessful⁤ in her ⁤bid to gain a nomination from Dublin City Council (DCC)⁤ today⁢ as several councils across Ireland ‌convened‍ to consider presidential hopefuls. Steen‍ presented herself as a “unifying president,” but councillors​ ultimately did not endorse her candidacy.
