María Patiño Claims Alessandro Lequio Deceived Media Following His Dismissal
Madrid, Spain - Television personality María Patiño has alleged that Alessandro Lequio deliberately misled herself and other media figures regarding a 1991 complaint filed by his former partner, Antonia Dell’Atte, following Lequio’s recent dismissal from Mediaset due to allegations of sexist violence.
“People like Ana Obregón, and myself, ‘We were victims of deception,'” Patiño stated. “After some work,I have managed to find out how Alessandro Lequio,to some people in the press, among whom I am,he deceived us.”
Patiño clarified that the initial complaint from Dell’Atte in 1991 concerned abandonment of the marital home, and did not initially detail allegations of mistreatment. She claims Lequio presented a narrative suggesting Dell’Atte falsified the complaint.
“He showed me the documents with a typex, where the crucial things were supposedly erased. I never publicly fell into that trap to talk about that that complaint of ’91 was manipulated,” Patiño explained.
According to Patiño, Lequio privately showed both herself and Ana Obregón a document purportedly proving Dell’Atte’s falsification, despite, she alleges, the falsification originating with Lequio himself. “Ana fell into that trap. The reason? Because he has a pending trial with Antonia,” Patiño added.
Ana Obregón publicly commented on the matter from her social media account, stating, “Antonia, you have falsified your complaint.”
Fellow television personality Kiko Matamoros weighed in,suggesting Ana Obregón may have been aware of Lequio’s character. “I think it’s neither about whitewashing nor pointing out. Ana Obregón knows perfectly what Lequio’s character is like,” he commented.
