California Lottery Players: Manual Verification Now Available for Account Access
SACRAMENTO, CA - California Lottery players experiencing issues verifying their identity online for 2nd Chance draws now have a manual verification option, the Lottery announced today. This comes after some users encountered difficulties with the automated online system.
The California Lottery prioritizes security and requires accurate identity and address verification for all members. While most players can successfully verify their information online, a manual process is available for those whose details don’t promptly match records. This ensures all participants are eligible for prize draws and protects against fraudulent activity. To complete manual verification, players should submit copies of both an identification document and an address verification document, along with their registered Lottery email address,to: California State Lottery-Attn: Customer Service,730 North 10th Street,Sacramento,CA 95811.Acceptable identification documents include:

Players who have recently changed their name are advised to wait until their government-issued ID reflects the update, or to include documentation of the name change (such as a marriage license) with their manual verification submission. the Lottery notes that manual verification typically takes approximately 10 business days to process. All submitted documents will be securely destroyed after verification.
