Mandach to Vote on 2027 Budget and Major Credits at Assembly
Residents of Mandach will face various new project commitments and infrastructure credits at the upcoming community assembly on November 25, 2026. Nau.ch reported that the municipal council invited the public to examine the extensive agenda, which includes multiple financial requests, local development plans, and the 2027 budgets for both the civil municipality and the civic community.
The assembly is scheduled to take place at 20:15 in the gymnasium. Because the agenda contains several extensive proposals, the municipal council scheduled a prior information event for Monday, November 9, 2026, at 20:00 in the community room to present the major credit requests.
Voters Decide on School and Road Credits
The civil municipality assembly agenda covers several significant financial items requiring voter approval. These comprise a project planning credit of CHF 16,585.35 for the renovation of the Leuggern upper school location representing Mandach’s share, a commitment credit of CHF 762,000.00 including VAT for the Spittel development featuring road and utility line renovations under Project 1, and a commitment credit of CHF 785,000.00 including VAT for the Hinterdorf development featuring road and utility line renovations under Project 4.

Additional infrastructure items on the agenda include a commitment credit of CHF 280,000.00 including VAT to draft the second generation of the general drainage plan (GEP2), and a credit of CHF 70,000.00 including VAT for the renovation of field paths. Voters will also address the approval of the civil municipality’s 2027 budget with a tax rate of 117 percent, alongside the protocol approval from the previous civil community assembly held on June 25, 2026.
Civic Community and Document Access
In addition to the civil municipality business, the civic community assembly will review its own matters, specifically seeking approval for the protocol from its June 19, 2026 assembly and its 2027 budget.
Personal invitations containing the complete list of agenda items are being sent out to all eligible voters in a timely manner. Furthermore, detailed documentation has been made available to the public since November 3, 2026, as reported by Nau.ch, allowing residents to either access the files directly on the municipal homepage or inspect and obtain physical copies at the municipal chancery before the November 25 meeting.
