Man Fatally Shot in South Los Angeles

Investigation underway after morning shooting on 82nd Place.

A man was shot and killed Saturday morning in an unincorporated section of South Los Angeles. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded to the incident at 10:15 a.m.

Scene Investigation

Deputies arrived at the scene, located near 82nd Place and Maie Avenue, where they discovered the victim. The man was pronounced dead at the location, according to sheriff’s officials. As of yet, authorities have not released a description of the victim.
