Mahavatar Narsimha Sees 150% Growth, Nearing Rs 3 Crore Net Collection
Mumbai, Maharashtra – Hombale Films’ animated devotional film, Mahavatar Narsimha, has experienced a significant surge in viewership, growing by 150 percent and collecting Rs 2.75 crore net at the box office as of its fifth Saturday in release. The film’s production cost, including print and publicity, stands at Rs 35 crore, with projected profits-including non-theatrical rights-expected to exceed Rs 150 crore.
The film is currently playing in theaters nationwide.
Mahavatar Narsimha‘s performance contributes to a strong year for Indian cinema. Sitaare zameen par, starring Aamir Khan, is also performing well, poised to become the year’s fifth highest-grossing film. Including 3D charges, Sitaare Zameen Par has already achieved the fifth position in terms of total earnings for the year.
Hombale Films, known for its prosperous Kannada-language films like K.G.F: Chapter 1 and K.G.F: Chapter 2, is expanding its footprint in the Hindi film industry with projects like Mahavatar Narsimha.The studio aims to deliver high-quality content across various genres.
