Magetan Dairy Investment: Boosting Regional Economy

magetan Seeks Investors to Revitalize Dairy Cow Population in Sarangan

SARANGAN, Magetan – Deputy Regent of Magetan, Kang Suyat, is actively seeking investment to ‍bolster the region’s dairy⁤ cow population, notably in the Sarangan area, following recent declines. The call for investors came during a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on Regional Financial⁢ Planning (LKPD) held Wednesday, October 8,⁢ 2025, at Kintamani Hotel.

The decrease in dairy cows is attributed to challenges in providing adequate energy and mineral resources, coupled with the impact of Foot and Mouth Disease (PMK). Kang Suyat emphasized the potential ⁤for economic growth around the Sarangan Tourism Area through ‍renewed investment in the livestock sector and the production of local dairy products, ultimately aiming to strengthen regional fiscal independence.”The population of dairy cows around Sarangan plummeted because ‌there was no perfect readiness of ESDM and constraints of oral and nail diseases,” stated Kang Suyat. “We hope that there are investors from outside the area who are willing to help develop the investment of dairy cows in Magetan.”

The Magetan Communication ⁤and Data Office reports that revitalizing the dairy industry is seen as a key step in supporting the local economy and ⁣ensuring a sustainable future for the community surrounding the popular tourist destination. Officials are hopeful that‌ external ‌investment will provide the necessary resources to address the challenges and restore the region’s ‌dairy ‍production capacity.
