Macagi Cingoli Prepares To Face Conversano With New Signing Costa
Despite Conversano entering the fixture amid a wave of enthusiasm, the visiting side remains unfazed as coach Antonj Làera prepares his team for tomorrow’s encounter.
Coach Làera Unfazed By Opponent Momentum
Conversano enters the match carrying momentum from recent successes, but Macagi Cingoli views the situation as an opportunity rather than a hurdle. “Despite the difficulties of the match,” emphasizes coach Antonj Làera, ” we will face Conversano with the goal of beating them at our best. Who knows, perhaps their supposed euphoria will be an advantage for us.”
The visiting squad intends to tackle the encounter without overthinking their rivals’ current form. "We'll try to exploit their weaknesses," Làera explains, "and play our game without psychological hesitations." Analyzing the other teams in the tournament, the coach noted that the current championship shares similarities with the previous campaign while presenting additional challenges. “It seems,” Làera clarifies, “that this season is essentially similar to the previous one, but upon closer inspection, it’s also been a bit more challenging. Currently, those who are in the best shape, with balanced maneuvers, are performing adequately. However, some have residual issues with their playmaking.”
New Signing Marques Costa Tiago Set For Squad Availability
Macagi Cingoli is positioned to incorporate new arrival Marques Costa Tiago into the lineup. The 26-year-old Portuguese left-back is expected to make his debut against Conversano.
“Costa is in the squad,” Làera clarified, “so he’s available, considering he’s just joined the squad. He needs to fully integrate. In the two prep sessions so far, he’s shown commitment and availability, so we’re confident in the contribution we expect from him.” Gianfilippo Centanni reported on the team preparations as the club looks toward tomorrow’s kickoff.
