mabinogi Heroes Soundtrack Shifts Production, Maintains High Quality

Anyang, South Korea – The soundtrack for the popular Korean action MMORPG Mabinogi Heroes (마비노기 영웅전) has seen a change in production, transitioning from Studio EIM to NECORD. despite initial concerns regarding a potential decline in quality, the game’s BGM continues to receive acclaim from players.

Previously, the Season 2 BGM received some criticism for being monotonous. However, the OST for the Annubin boss fight is frequently cited among the best in Mabinogi Heroes history. The shift to NECORD sparked debate, wiht some attributing a perceived drop in quality to the change in teams, though the BGM generally remains competitive with other games.

The game’s BGM for Season 4 (~Eno) is available online. While earlier episodes (up to EP 8) were considered somewhat repetitive, and the Durahan theme song was notably shorter than others, later tracks like Essider’s BGM were well-received. Leaked BGM from Chapter 3 testing also demonstrated continued high quality.

In 2015, the popularity of the Mabinogi Heroes soundtrack led to the opening of a brand shop and a live concert featuring the game’s music at the Pangyo Hyundai Department Store, with an OST compilation of BGM up to that date. Despite the production change, the music continues to be a beloved element of the game, even featuring reused tracks in later content like Cheonil yasa.
