Lucy Bedroque &amp. prettifun – New Track “GOOD SAKE” & ROYGBIV Project Update

A recent single, “GOOD SAKE,” released today by Lucy Bedroque and prettifun, features production from egobreak and signals a potential revival of their collaborative mixtape project, ROYGBIV. The track arrives as both artists are experiencing heightened visibility following successful 2025 releases.

prettifun’s debut album, Funhouse Deluxe, released via Victor Victor, was named a favorite rap album of 2025 by The FADER. Bedroque’s May album, Unmusique, described as a “blown out digicore bonanza,” led to a performance slot at the 2026 Rolling Loud music festival. The two artists previously collaborated on “Ultraviolet,” a track from Bedroque’s Unmusique and “For a Minute,” released in September and produced by Misogi and Ginseng.

“GOOD SAKE” is characterized by a beat from egobreak that has been described as reminiscent of both SOPHIE and Meek Mill’s Flamerz-era work, incorporating “harsh metallic percussion and shimmering glissandos.” The FADER noted Bedroque’s verse as “squeakily yelped” and contrasting with prettifun’s “run-on melodies.”

The release of “GOOD SAKE” follows egobreak’s debut project, Snow Ballet, which dropped last week and featured collaborations with d0llywood1, ezcodylee, and Bedroque. Egobreak has described the sound of Snow Ballet, and by extension “GOOD SAKE,” as “snowtrap,” a subgenre of “supertrap,” questioning the need for new genres to be assigned old labels.

The collaborative project ROYGBIV has been teased for over a year, though its future remained uncertain after prettifun both canceled and uncanceled an upcoming mixtape, You Can Die Laughing. Still, Bedroque indicated continued work on ROYGBIV in an Instagram post over the weekend, stating, “roygbiv never Left.”

“GOOD SAKE” was originally shared as “beep” and marks the sixth collaboration between Bedroque and prettifun, according to Genius.
