BATON ROUGE, La. – Following their triumphant 2025 season, three LSU baseball players have been named All-Americans by Baseball America magazine, solidifying the program’s status as a national powerhouse. The All-America selections highlight the outstanding individual performances that fueled LSU’s College World Series victory.
Anderson and Eyanson Named First-Team All-Americans
Sophomore left-handed pitcher Kade Anderson, a Louisiana native, and junior right-handed pitcher Anthony Eyanson, hailing from California, have both earned First-Team All-America honors. Anderson’s dominant performance throughout the season culminated in being named the most Outstanding Player of the 2025 College World Series. Eyanson’s stellar pitching also earned him recognition as a semifinalist for the National Pitcher of the Year Award presented by the College Baseball Foundation.

Kade Anderson’s Record-Breaking Season
Anderson finished the season with an extraordinary 12-1 record, boasting a 3.18 ERA and a nation-leading 180 strikeouts across 119 innings. His strikeout total ranks third in LSU’s single-season history, trailing only Paul Skenes (209 in 2023) and Ben McDonald (202 in 1989). Anderson also ranked No.7 nationally in strikeouts per nine innings, averaging 13.61.
Anthony Eyanson’s Key Contributions
