LPGA Drive On: New Storytelling Series with Ford
The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) has launched “Drive On,” a storytelling series presented by Ford, designed to highlight the athletes and shared values within the sport. The initiative was announced Wednesday, March 25, 2026, by the LPGA.
Ford’s role extends beyond presenting sponsorship of the storytelling series. the company is also the title sponsor of the Ford Championship presented by Wild Horse Pass, an LPGA Tour event held in Gilbert, Arizona. Last year, the inaugural Ford Championship saw Lilia Vu secure victory after a playoff, defeating Lilia Vu with a birdie on the first playoff hole.
According to Ford, the “Drive On” series aims to provide a platform for LPGA athletes to share their experiences and perspectives. The series will focus on the journeys and values of the players, offering insights into their lives both on and off the golf course. The initiative is intended to connect with audiences on a deeper level, showcasing the dedication, resilience, and personal stories of the LPGA’s competitors.
The partnership between the LPGA and Ford builds on a growing trend of corporate sponsors investing in women’s sports and utilizing storytelling to enhance brand engagement. Ford stated that the collaboration is about more than just sponsorship, emphasizing a shared commitment to empowering athletes and celebrating their achievements. The company’s “From the Road” platform highlighted the importance of support systems for LPGA players, noting that success isn’t achieved in isolation.
The LPGA has not yet announced specific details regarding the release schedule or distribution platforms for the “Drive On” series. Further information about the series and the Ford Championship can be found on the LPGA and Ford Championship websites, respectively.
