“L’amour est dans le pré” farmer reveals Emotional Manipulation by Suitor
Orgères, ille-et-Vilaine, France – Pierrick, a poultry breeder featured on the French dating show “L’amour est dans le pré” (Love is in the Meadow), has revealed he was deliberately misled by a suitor, Livie, from Switzerland. The 62-year-old farmer shared his experience in an upcoming episode, detailing how Livie feigned affection to provoke a reaction from a former partner.
The revelation comes as the showS latest season unfolds,captivating audiences with its portrayal of rural romance. Pierrick, who had been single for several years following a long-term relationship, initially believed he had found a connection with Livie after she was chosen over another suitor, Valérie. However, the relationship took a shocking turn during his visit to Switzerland, were Livie abruptly requested he sleep on the couch, stating she wanted to “reconnect with my boyfriend.”
“I fell from a height,” Pierrick explained to host Karine Le Marchand. “I fell like an imbecile into the trap.” He alleges Livie confessed to using him as leverage in a previous relationship.”Before the show, she had someone who only wanted an adventure.She broke up with him and used me to put pressure on him,” Pierrick recounted.Le Marchand expressed her shock, noting that the production team chose not to air footage from Pierrick’s stay in Switzerland.
Despite the painful experience, Pierrick has since found new hope in love. Show producers recently delivered mail to the farmer, including a letter from a woman named Annick, with whom he has begun a recent relationship.”If there was one person in the season where we said he was going to sleep on the first night, it was you,” Le Marchand told Pierrick, to which he responded, “I’m the only one who hasn’t had sex.”
