LOVB Houston vs Atlanta: Full Match – Pro Season 2026 | Feb 19
LOVB Houston faced LOVB Atlanta in a full-game matchup on Wednesday, February 19, 2026, as part of the League One Volleyball (LOVB) Pro Season.
The match featured a rematch of the 2025 championship semifinals, where LOVB Austin defeated LOVB Atlanta in a reverse sweep to advance to the title match, according to league announcements earlier this year. LOVB Atlanta sought to avenge that loss.
The 2026 LOVB season began on January 7 with a contest between LOVB Austin, the 2025 champions and LOVB Nebraska. ESPN is broadcasting 28 matches across its platforms this season, beginning with the LOVB Atlanta versus LOVB Austin game on January 11, which aired on ESPN2. That opening weekend also featured LOVB Nebraska hosting LOVB Houston on ESPN+, spotlighting Lexi Rodriguez in her debut role for Nebraska.
LOVB Houston’s roster includes Jordan Thompson, who was named the 2025 LOVB Opposite Hitter of the Year. The Houston team is known for its high-energy style and strong social media presence. LOVB Atlanta features Tia Jamerson, a hometown hero, and faced a LOVB Austin squad with eight former Longhorns in the season opener.
The league’s second season showcases enhancements intended to elevate the level of play. Athletes with a combined total of 10 Olympic medals were competing in Houston on January 8. Setter Micha Hancock of Houston faced fellow Olympic medalist Jordan Larson when Houston played Nebraska on January 11.
Tickets for select matches were available as of late November, with additional matches being added to the ticket availability soon after. Season ticket memberships are also available through the LOVB website.
