Liverpool fans think two players need to leave after disasterclass vs AC Milan in pre-season

Liverpool manager Arne Slot has addressed the club’s defensive options following an injury to Joe Gomez, who has departed the pre-season tour.

Speaking after a match against AC Milan, Slot commented on the team’s center-back situation. “I don’t think we have a concern at center back (looking at Virgil van Dijk),” Slot stated. “Ryan [Gravenberch] showed he can play that position, he did it as well although we favour him as a No 6. Wataru Endo can play there. So we have enough options but it is true that Jarell Quansah left and we haven’t replaced him yet.”

The Reds are scheduled to play Yokohama F. Marinos in Japan on Wednesday.
