This paper is direct and clear on the explanation, investigation and importance of the articles they choose to publish. One of the best things I love about the New Citizens Press is they recognize the families and people of my community; it's not all bad news they share, they share the good news too. You can feel the joy, love and compassion put into each article. Overall, I'm thankful for them.

I’ve been reading this publication for over 10 years and it’s always been a positive resource for news in the community. I’ve always loved how they highlight teachers and members of the community doing amazing things. I always felt a personal connection to the stories, and appreciated African Americans being given a platform. Rina Risper has always been a person with a plus for the community and a dedicated to inspiring and uplifting everyone around her. Will continue to support for as long as it’s around! The New Citizens Press is a great newspaper and very informative. I have been reading this paper for years. Ms. Risper wrote about my daughter debuting with the Les Meres et Debutantes Club in the great Lansing area. She is very professional. I love the content, and different stories that relate to our community. The New Citizens Press gives a different approach and viewpoint than any other paper in the area. The New Citizens Press has content for everyone: Local news, in depth articles on local and Michigan businesses, recipes, and advice columns ranging from money management to career advice and interpersonal relationships. I’m very happy with my paper subscription.
