I was a long way and a long time from my hometown of Plant City. I missed my home and wrote just to ask for some old issues. I had no idea the paper was a free paper. Regardless, the postage was not free... It was around $2 a week. They sent me the paper every week for about 10 years. The folks at the Observer also never failed to send me a Christmas card signed by tthe whole staff. The paper is wonderful but it was the staff who reminded me what I missed most about Plant City... Its people. Thank you all for making a man so far from home to feel like a neighbor.
Great paper, lovely and hard working staff, they get the real messages out there and lots of positivity too!
Great LOCAL paper.
