Greenhams in Ryde, GB

13 September,2025 we went on a morning around 11. the lady on the till was not very pleasant with us around and we felt like she just wanted us to go out quickly. we asked for something and got something else and we just left as we did not like to be around so much. Unfortunately, that was our first encounter on the Isle of Wight and it made our whole experience and view towards the island swiftly on the bitter side. please treat customers respectfully

Decent selection of beer but pricey at £4 a bottle of local beer.

After reading some of the other reviews, I can safely say I have no idea what caused them to leave their reviews, since the staff are always lovely, and funny, even if they aren't having the best of days themselves.nIn particular, Rory, Dev and Sonja (apologies if the spelling is incorrect) are always fantastic, very helpful and very friendly which for me personally, goes a long way!nThe prices of products are generally good, and it's easy to find what you're after, and if not, the staff are always available to help.

I would just like to share how helpful I found the manager and staff at Greenhams. It’s also a parcel pick up point. I collected a parcel from there and there was a problem with the courier company that sent it. The manager made phone calls and went out of her way to help me resolve this issue. I was most grateful and really impressed with how friendly the staff are.nMany thanks.

COMMON THIEF! My click and collect parcel showed as signed for by the shop owner, but he told me he signed for it because it was sent back to the sender, this doesn't happen, you sign to accept. The sender contacted the shipping company and they said if it's signed for its its at the shop. This guy is basically a theif

Didnt look very clean and the staff were grumpy, I asked for prices on their bottled beers and was given wrong information only after I spent time making a selection was I told they had given me the wrong prices, we all make mistakes but a sorry would have been nice.
