The Bakersfield News Observer is not only a great local newspaper, is the the ONLY place businesses should be publishing their legal documents that require publication. The Staff (James, Kathleen, etc.) are great!! They are so, so very efficient. If I could give more than 5 Stars, I would. Thanks you all. You make my life and job so much easier with your great service and professionalism! Carl

I have a business and filed my DBA renewal on time and it was published & stamped by the county - done deal . Well...... even though the county stamped and signed my paperwork they never put it in the system !! so I get this threatening letter from them. I email the Observer and they immediately send over my copy and after I explain I live in Tehachapi, Mr. Luckey actually took his time and drove over there and gave the county ANOTHER copy of the already stamped by the county paperwork. Not only was the Observer nice to start with when I first called but this was excellent customer service. !! I was so grateful to them :))

I use this newspaper to publish my D.B.A for my transportation business. They were very professional and handled everything in a very timely manner. I will use them again in the near future.

Mr. James was an amazingly nice man, who was very cordial. Look forward to reading the news publications. Awesome to have a paper like that in the city.
