Liquid Death: Eternal Playlists & $495 Bluetooth Speaker Urns

February 24, 2026 Julia Evans – Entertainment Editor Entertainment

Liquid Death and Spotify have launched the Eternal Playlist Urn, a limited-edition cremation urn with a built-in Bluetooth speaker, allowing users to stream music even after death. The collaboration, announced Tuesday, also includes the “Eternal Playlist Generator,” a tool for Spotify users to create personalized playlists tailored to their afterlife “vibe.”

The urn, available for $495 in the United States, is designed to hold human remains and connect wirelessly to any compatible device via Bluetooth. A USB-C port allows for recharging the speaker, which is integrated into the urn’s lid, according to Liquid Death.

“Life needs music. So does the afterlife,” Spotify stated in a press release. The company is promoting the Eternal Playlist Generator as a way to curate a soundtrack for eternity. Users are prompted to answer questions such as “What’s your eternal vibe?” and “What’s your go-to ghost noise?” to generate a playlist based on their Spotify listening history.

Liquid Death, known for its aggressively marketed canned water, frames the urn as a solution to a common problem. “Finally death is a lot less boring,” the company states on its website. The product is a limited run of 150 units.

The Eternal Playlist Generator is currently available to Spotify users in the U.S. The urn itself can be synced directly with playlists created through the generator, ensuring a seamless transition to an otherworldly listening experience.

Liquid Death has recently expanded its beverage line beyond water, introducing products like Sinister Ginger and Killbert Grape sparkling waters, as well as MTN Don’t, an alpine soda-inspired drink. A tropical tea flavor, Death Island, is slated for release later this year, and a collaboration with Feastables on a peanut butter cup-flavored sparkling water is planned for Halloween.
