Linda Leen Completes WAVES Trilogy With Hanzas Perons Concert

Latvian Linda Leen is set to conclude her year-long musical project, the WAVES trilogy, with a final performance at Hanzas Perons in Riga on October 17. The event will mark the first time the three installments of her autobiographical musical novel are presented as a single, unified concert program.

Finalizing the WAVES Trilogy

The release of WAVES III / III completes a project developed over the course of the year, comprising fifteen distinct stories that Leen describes as ranging from delicate, sensual nuances to a refined, untamed spirit of freedom.

Leen characterizes the aesthetic of the completed trilogy as a “melancholic euphoria.” The sound design for the final chapter was developed in collaboration with producer Gatis Zaķis, marking another partnership for the duo following their work on the 2017 album Digital Church and the 2024 single “Magnētiskā vētra.”

Leen Uses Tour Scenography for Hanzas Perons Show

The upcoming performance at Hanzas Perons will feature the same stage scenography that accompanied the artist during her tour stops in Cēsis, Ventspils, and Liepāja throughout the year. Alongside new material, the setlist will include established tracks such as “Magnētiskā vētra,” “Blue Monday,” and “Uzar mani kā zemi.”

Leen will be supported on stage by a band consisting of Miķelis Putniņš on guitar, Rihards Lībietis on guitar, Kristians Priekulis on bass, and Rūdolfs Daņiļēvičs on percussion.

Tickets Go on Sale for October 17 Performances

Tickets for the two performances on October 17, scheduled for 17:00 and 20:00, are available through Biļešu Paradīze. Following each show, Leen is scheduled to meet with attendees for a signing session and photo opportunities. Additionally, the venue will offer for sale the artist’s book Introversijas, which contains Latvian translations of her English-language song lyrics.

While the live experience serves as the culmination of the tour, the full WAVES trilogy is currently available for listeners on major music streaming platforms.
