Lil Durk Faces 4th Superseding Indictment Ahead of Federal Murder-for-Hire Trial

August 6, 2026 Julia Evans – Entertainment Editor Entertainment

The updated filing increases the count total from six to seven by dividing a single interstate stalking charge into two distinct offenses, addressing a technical legal issue regarding multiple victims under federal law just weeks before proceedings begin before U.S. Fitzgerald.

How the Fourth Superseding Indictment Modifies the Charges

The new charging document returned by a federal grand jury addresses a specific statutory complication in the government’s case. Per the filed court docket, the previous indictment improperly combined allegations involving rapper Quando Rondo—identified as T.B. in court documents—and the late Saviay’a Robinson, professionally known as Lul Pabb, into a single stalking count. Prosecutors noted in the filing that “each victim constitutes a separate offense under the federal stalking statute,” necessitating the revision.

Robinson was killed during an August 2022 shooting in Los Angeles that authorities maintain targeted Quando Rondo. Under the fourth superseding indictment, Banks faces one count of interstate stalking of Quando Rondo using a dangerous weapon, alongside a separate count alleging interstate stalking resulting in Robinson’s death. The remaining allegations against the artist remain unchanged, encompassing murder in aid of racketeering, conspiracy to commit interstate stalking, conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire, use of interstate facilities to commit murder-for-hire resulting in death, and a related firearms charge. Banks has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

The revised indictment will serve as the operative charging instrument when Banks stands trial later this month. This procedural update follows a recent ruling by Judge Fitzgerald to sever the racketeering allegations from the upcoming proceedings. Consequently, jurors will focus strictly on the Los Angeles murder-for-hire allegations during the trial.

Federal prosecutors continue to assert that members of Only The Family, or OTF, orchestrated a retaliatory plot against Quando Rondo following the 2020 killing of rapper King Von, contending that Robinson was fatally struck during the attempted attack. With the trial schedule locked in, defense counsel and federal prosecutors prepare to present their arguments under the newly structured seven-count indictment.
