Isabel Fernández was the standout player in the match, leading Atlético Atenea to a comfortable win with sets of 25-22, 25-16, and 25-14. According to reporting from Diario Libero, this performance highlighted Fernández as the best player of the match.

Saturday’s matches saw Géminis defeat Deportivo Soan 3-0, and Regatas Lima overcome Rebaza Acosta with the same scoreline. San Martín also secured a 3-2 win against Circolo.

The league standings after the completion of the eighth round of the second phase are as follows: Alianza Lima (49 points), USMP (48 points), Universitario (44 points), Géminis (35 points), Atlético Atenea (32 points), Circolo Sportivo Italiano (25 points), Deportivo Soan (18 points), Rebaza Acosta (15 points), and Olva Latino (14 points).
