Levski poised for Financial Boost with Imminent Sponsorship Deal
SOFIA,Bulgaria – Levski Sofia is on the verge of securing a critically important sponsorship deal that promises too bolster the clubS finances adn transfer capabilities, according to reports.Negotiations are reportedly nearing completion with a currently unnamed powerful sponsor, with a positive outcome anticipated before the year’s end.
this potential influx of capital arrives as Levski demonstrates increasing financial stability and on-field performance, making the club an attractive investment opportunity. In 2023, Levski reported profits exceeding 14 million BGN, with over 5 million BGN generated from participation in European tournaments. The sponsorship is expected to further strengthen the club’s budget, enabling increased investment in player transfers and wage structures.
Currently, Levski’s existing general sponsorship agreement, as announced by majority owner Nasko Sirakov during the club’s spring general meeting, extends only thru the end of next year. This limited timeframe previously hindered the growth of a long-term strategic plan for the team. However, the club is now actively exploring opportunities with multiple large companies interested in leveraging Levski’s growing brand recognition.
Beyond the new sponsorship, Levski has also drawn renewed interest from foreign investors.”Sport Republic,” which previously expressed interest in acquiring a majority stake in the club in 2022, has reportedly re-engaged in discussions. Sirakov has confirmed that, as of yet, no formal offer for the shares has been received.
