L’Escape Seoul: New Romance Program with Yoga, Art & Wellness Classes
Seoul’s L’Escape hotel, a member of Marriott International’s Luxury Collection, is launching a series of new programs this spring focused on wellness, art, and cultural immersion. The initiatives build on the hotel’s rebranding under the Luxury Collection banner last December, aiming to position L’Escape as a destination for experiential travel beyond traditional lodging.
The hotel is expanding its “Salon de L’Escape” program, a modern take on 19th-century French salon culture, to include both regular and seasonal offerings. These private classes cover a range of lifestyle topics, including gourmet experiences, art, and wellness, according to a statement from Chosun Hotels & Resorts, the operator of L’Escape.
Regularly scheduled classes will include meditation and yoga sessions held twice weekly. A new “Voyage to Belle Epoque” docent tour will provide insights into the hotel’s design, which draws inspiration from the Belle Epoque era. The tour will detail the architectural vision of Jacques Garcia, who designed the hotel’s interiors, and the symbolism embedded within the space.
L’Escape has likewise introduced two new wellness zones: the “Relaxing Atelier,” featuring high-end recliners from Ace Bed’s Stressless line, and the “Listening Atelier.” The Listening Atelier, located within the hotel’s Marc Damor Bar on the 26th floor, is a sound lounge created in collaboration with Swiss speaker brand Piega and TCL, offering a curated listening experience.
The hotel is also enhancing its in-room experience with a redesigned turndown service. Guests will receive recommendations for music, yoga stretches, local running and walking routes, and nearby restaurants, aiming to provide a more immersive and relaxing stay.
A partnership with Swarovski Café is underway, offering the “Joyful Escape: Crystal Journey” package through May 31. The package includes lodging and dining experiences, with Atelier Suite guests receiving a tea cocktail and dessert set at the Marc Damor Bar.
“We will expand various programs that go beyond simple lodging and make the moments you spend at L’Escape a place of culture,” said Park Ki-cheol, general manager of L’Escape, in a statement.
L’Escape is located in Seoul’s Jung-Gu district, near the Myeongdong Shopping Street and within walking distance of Seoul train station, according to information from Marriott. The hotel offers a 24-hour front desk, a restaurant, and a fitness center.
