Sanfrancisqueño Archer Leo Vivas battles Illness to Claim Fourth Place in Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires, Argentina – Leo Ezequiel Vivas, a talented archer from San Francisco and representing the Tire and Gymnastics Club, demonstrated remarkable resilience this past weekend at the Buenos Aires zone Outdoor Air tournament. The tournament, a rankable event organized by the Metropolitan School of Archery (EMTA) in conjunction with the Federal Shot of Lomas de Zamora, drew the nation’s top archers.
the competition featured elite athletes, including members of the national team – a group to which Vivas proudly belongs. This tournament was a key component of the Federation’s National Calendar Rankable Circuit, comprising five events held across different regions of Argentina throughout the year: Coastal, Northern, Patagonia, South, and Buenos Aires.
Despite battling a fever, Vivas impressively secured fourth place, reaching the semifinals and coming within a single point of claiming the bronze medal in a tightly contested final. His determination to compete despite his illness underscored his dedication and skill.
Vivas’s fourth-place finish is a testament to his value,ability,and unwavering commitment. He will next compete in three weeks at the Youth Cup, hosted by the Federal Shot of Mar del Plata.
